CLAT (Common Law Admissions Test)
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a standardized, national-level entrance exam for admission to 23 National Law Universities (NLU).

Exam Pattern of CLAT
Two hours are allotted for this law entrance test. A total of 150 multiple-choice questions are included in the CLAT exam. In the CLAT exam paper, there are five sections, including:

AILET (All India Law Entrance Test)
National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) conducts the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admission to undergraduate (UG), graduate (PG), and doctoral (Ph.D.) level legal studies programmes. This is a national-level entrance exam exclusively for NLU Delhi's legal programmes. It is a pen and paper test.
Exam Pattern AILET
The AILET examination will last 90 minutes.150 questions will be asked in total.The AILET LLM 2023 test will include 100 questions total, plus 10 descriptive questions, only two of which need to be answered.Each of the descriptive questions in the AILET LLM exam 2023 will be worth 25 points.

SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test)
The Symbiosis Law Aptitude Test is known as SLAT. It is the admissions test for BA LLB and BBA LLB. The Symbiosis Law schools provide it (SLSs). It is run by Symbiosis International University.
Exam Pattern SLAT

- The SLAT 2023 admission test has five sections: legal reasoning, logical reasoning, general knowledge, analytical reasoning, and English comprehension. It is an objective type entrance exam.

(BHU).

The LSAT- Law School Admission Test for India for LLM is a standardized test used to evaluate the abilities of law school applicants based on their advanced reading, critical thinking, and informal and deductive reasoning skills. The Law School Admission Council, often known as LSAC Global, administers the test for entry into affiliated law institutions.
The LSAT India 2023 PG test will last 2 hours and 20 minutes and be proctored remotely (with AI assistance) online.

Bar Council of India and AIBE
The Bar Council of India administers the All India Bar Examination(AIBE) to law graduates who want to begin practicing as attorneys. Following successful completion of the test, the candidate will be given a certificate of practice, making them qualified to represent themselves in any Indian court. The test is given in national and regional languages in 40 Indian cities.
The test is given to determine a candidate's analytical abilities as well as to establish a minimum standard for entry into the legal profession by evaluating a member's fundamental level of knowledge. The Bar Council of India grants the candidate a certificate of practice once they pass the All India Bar Examination. Anyone who passed the test is qualified to attend tribunal, court, and administrative proceedings
The test has a multiple-choice format and is given offline over the course of three and a half hours. The All India Bar Examination is offered in English, Assamese, Punjabi, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Oriya, and Telugu. The AIBE 2023 examination will take place on 5th February 2023.
Eligibility criteria for AIBE
- Members must have a three- or five-year legal degree from an accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- They need to have had bar registrations with their respective state councils.
- There is no maximum age to take the exam.
