How to Calculate NEET Cut-Off Percentile?
The agency has prescribed the calculation formula for NEET cut-off percentile. The NEET percentile is the total number of candidates that have secured less than a candidate. This percentile can be calculated by the candidate itself based on the formula prescribed by the concerned authorities. Here are the basic formula used for calculating NEET cut off percentile.

NEET Cut-Off Score: Tie-Breaking Process
Candidates who secure equal marks in the NEET examination will be called for the tie-breaking process. The tie-breaking process will help the eligible candidates for final selection in the medical colleges. Here are the major tie breaking process for the NEET cut off marks:
- Candidates who secure high marks in Botany and Zoology will be considered for the final merit list
- The marks in the chemistry subject will be considered for final selection
- If the tie still persists, then those who have a low number of incorrect answers will be considered for the profile
NEET Counselling Process
After the NEET cut-off marks are announced, the authorities proceed with the NEET counselling process. Candidates who qualify for the examination are called to participate in the AIQ and state based counselling process.
