RRB NTPC 2023 Eligibility

  • Nationality

An applicant must fit one of the following categories:

Persons of Indian descent who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India are also considered citizens of India or subjects of Nepal or Bhutan or Tibetan refugees who crossed into India before January 1, 1962.

  • Age criteria

Candidates' ages for 7th CPC Level-2 and Level-3 positions should fall between 18 and 30 as of July 1, 2023.

Candidates' ages for 7th CPC Level 4, 5, and 6 should fall within the range of 18 and 33 as of July 1, 2023.

The following positions are available: Commercial Apprentice, Station Master, Goods Guard, Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist, Senior Clerk Cum Typist, Senior Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Time Keeper, and Traffic Assistant. a diploma obtained from a reputable university.

Commercial Cumulative Ticket Clerk, Accounts Cumulative Clerk, Junior Clerk, Junior Time Keeper, and Trains Clerk: Grades 12 or equivalent with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%. For SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen and candidates with qualifications greater than the 12th grade, 50% of the total possible marks are not required.

Typing Skill Test (TST)

The candidates must be able to type 25 WPM in Hindi or 30 WPM in English on a personal computer without the use of any editing software or spell-checking features.

RRB NTPC 2023 Admit Card

The RRB NTPC 2023 Admit Card will be made available online, and notifications will be given to the registered email address and mobile number.Candidates can access the official website to download their admit cards using information such as their registration number, birthdate, etc.

On the admit card, information about the exam location and times will be provided.

When reporting for the exam, the applicants should bring their admit card, a legal photo ID, and one colour photo.

Ans. No, and candidates who attempt to apply for more than one RRB will have all of their applications rejected and their application fees forfeited.

Q2. Is it possible for me to indicate the post for which I'm applying to the RRB?

Ans. Yes, you can indicate your preferred post preference when filling out the application. However, be certain that you are qualified for the position you are looking for.

Q3. I work for the railroads right now. Can I still register for the NTPC test?

Ans. Candidates can apply directly to the RRBs after properly notifying their Employer if they are currently employed (including those who are on induction training or probation in any Central/State Government Department, including the Railways or Public Sector Undertakings). During document verification, shortlisted candidates must present a NOC from their employer; else, their candidature will be withdrawn.

Q4. What identification documents may I present?

Ans. Voter ID, an Aadhaar card, an e-Aadhaar printout, a driver's licence, a PAN card, a passport, an identity card issued by the candidate's workplace if they are a government employee, and a college or university photo ID card.
