Adenosine is the chemical compound found in mammalian cells.They are mainly exit in 3 major forms:

It was first used in SVT in 1976 it displaced the verapamil (first line drug) for SVT. Two most talented scientists Cyrus H.fiske Yellapragada Subbarow determined the adenosine in mammalian cells and liver.

Adenosine Chemical Compound

It is a ribonucleoside compound formed by adenine adhere to ribofuranose via a beta-N(9)-glycosidic bond.It can be used as an antiarrhythmic drug, , a painkiller,or a vasodilator agent.
