Barium Phosphate Formula

Chemistry Formulas

Barium phosphate formula, also known as Tribarium phosphate formula or Barium phosphate tribasic formula, is described in this article. It is an inorganic salt that combines three cations with two anions. The cation is barium (Ba2+), and the anion is phosphate (PO43-). The chemical barium phosphate or molecular formula is Ba3 (PO4) 2.

Barium phosphate tribasic is a solid colorless powder, usually powdery, with a slightly acetic acid odor. It does not dissolve in water but is easily soluble in acidic liquid solutions. Tribarium diphosphate is found in rocks and minerals such as alforsite and jagowerite. It can be synthesized by reacting with inorganic salt barium carbonate and metaphosphoric acid (HPO3).
