Candidates must follow the official instructions issued by NTA to ensure smooth entry and verification at the exam centre. These guidelines help maintain fairness and security during the examination process.

Applicants should reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the exam begins to complete biometric verification and security checks. Candidates must carefully read all the instructions printed on their CUET PG admit card. It is also important to follow directions given by the invigilators during the exam. Candidates who fail to follow the guidelines or carry restricted items may not be allowed to appear for the examination.

What to Carry at the CUET PG 2026 Exam Centre

Candidates must bring certain documents and essential items to the examination centre for identity verification and entry into the exam hall.

CUET PG Admit Card: The admit card is the most important document required on exam day. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the CUET PG 2026 admit card, as entry to the exam centre will not be allowed without it.

Valid Photo ID Proof: Candidates must bring a government-issued photo ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License. The ID proof should match the details mentioned on the admit card.

Passport-size Photographs: Candidates are usually advised to carry two recent passport-size photographs, preferably the same as the one uploaded during the application process.

Transparent Water Bottle: If needed, candidates may carry a transparent water bottle inside the exam centre, as opaque bottles are generally not allowed during security checks.

Self-Declaration Form (if applicable): Some exam centres may require candidates to submit a self-declaration form mentioned on the admit card. Candidates should check the instructions carefully and carry it if required.

What Not to Carry at the CUET PG 2026 Exam Centre

NTA has clearly stated that several items are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Candidates found carrying restricted items may not be allowed to enter the exam centre.

Electronic Devices: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, earphones, or any electronic communication device are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

Study Materials: Candidates are not allowed to bring notes, books, printed papers, or any study material to the examination centre.

Metallic Items or Jewellery: Items such as rings, bracelets, chains, earrings, or metallic accessories should be avoided as they may cause issues during security checks.

Bags, Wallets, or Purses: Handbags, wallets, and purses are generally not permitted inside the exam hall. Candidates should avoid bringing unnecessary belongings to the exam centre.

Food Items or Packaged Eatable Items: Candidates should not carry snacks or food items unless allowed under special circumstances, such as medical conditions.
