ICSE Board Full Form

ICSE full form is the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education. 

1.ICSE is the abbreviation used for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education. 

2.ICSE board is formed to offer an examination of general schooling, with the commendations of the 1986 Education Policy  and through English medium.

About ICSE Board

ICSE board syllabus is bit higher than CBSE and other state boards upto class 10 students will read almost 10 to 15 percent more chapter as compared to other board.

Difference between CBSE and ICSE

The boards are well known board having great academic excellence. CBSE is older one where as ICSE is newer. As far as syllabus is concern ICSE board is bit higher syllabus as compared to CBSE, students will have more chapters in ICSE board as compared to CBSE. The major advantage of CBSE board is most of the competitive entrance exam the syllabus is taken form CBSE board and recommended books are NCERT
