MMS full form is a Multimedia Messaging Service. MMS is a revised form of the short message service protocol that includes multimedia messages. MMS improves communication by taking a standard quality approach to sending and receiving multimedia messages containing pictures, text, graphics, audio files, video clips, etc. MMS can only be used in electronic devices that contain a specific service and multimedia tools, including devices, are cell phones, laptops, personal computers, portable devices, etc. GPRS and 3G networks are particularly suitable for use with MMS. GPRS-managed MMS works slowly and, on the other hand, takes a lot of time, and MMS that works with 3G is fast in function and includes streaming video as well.

Advantages of MMS

2.      MMS messages allow the user to add multiple styles and formats depending on how the user wants their text and allow an extremely long message transaction between multiple phones at the same time.

3.      MMS content attracts the recipient's attention and users send or intentionally exchange a message in no time. Video content absorbs enormous amounts of energy with the average sender and receiver.

Disadvantages of MMS

1.      Due to different functions and configurations, MMS created by one mobile phone product may not be compatible with another mobile phone product.

2.      A large number of one-time MMS transactions can slow down the network data server.

3.      Some poorly configured devices may not result in a proper MMS transaction. Sometimes the user never configured the settings, which also leads to delivery problems.

Another full form of MMS is Microsoft Media Server. MMS is a service provider-requested protocol that was developed explicitly for live digital media content and performs one-way data transfers on Windows Media networks. Microsoft rejects MMS for RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol) approval.
