. 2d shapes with examples

Best Answer

A polygon is a 2-dimensional form made up of straight-line segments that are related with each other, therefore giving it a closed shape. A circle, square, rectangle, and triangle are a few examples of two-dimensional shapes and these shapes can be drawn on paper. All the two- dimensional shapes have sides, vertices (corners), and interior angles, except for the circle, which is a curved figure. 2D shapes with at least 3 straight sides are known as polygons and these consist of triangles, squares, and quadrilaterals. The figure given below indicates the 2D shapes that we usually come across.
