. A concave mirror produces three times magnified (enlarged) real image of an object placed at 10 cm in front of it. Where is the image located
Best Answer
Sol. In this problem we are given,
Magnification, m= -3 (Image is real)
Object distance, u = -10cm (To the left of mirror)
Image distance, v=? (To be calculated)
Putting these values in the magnification formula for a mirror
m = -v/u
v = -mu
= -(-3)(-10 cm)
= -30cm
