The Tropic of Cancer also known as the Northern Tropic is the northernmost latitude circle on Earth where the sun can be directly above. The tropic is one of the five major latitudinal circles on the earth, the other four being the Tropic of Capricorn, the Arctic Circle, the Antarctic Circle and the Equator. In India the Tropic of Cancer passes through nearly it's middle. It passes through 8 countries-Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Tripura and Mizoram.

OPTION A. Manipur is a north-eastern Indian state. It's capital is located at Imphal. It's neighbours with Nagaland in the north, Assam in the west, Mizoram in the south and in Ghent east shares an transnational border with the country of Myanmar. The latitudinal extent of Manipur is from 23.830 N to 25.680. Hence the Tropic of Cancer doesn't pass through this state.
