UP SI Physical Test Overview

UP SI Physical Test is an important stage in recruitment. It includes PST and PET to check physical standards and endurance of candidates.

Stages of UP SI Physical Test

The test has two stages Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates must clear both to qualify for selection.

Height and Chest Requirements Male

Male candidates must meet height and chest criteria. General OBC SC require 168 cm height and chest 79 to 84 cm with expansion.

Height and Weight Requirements Female

Female candidates must meet physical standards: General/OBC/SC 152 cm height, 40 kg weight; ST 147 cm height, 40 kg weight

Important PST Rules

Measurements are taken without shoes on flat surface. Male candidates must show 5 cm chest expansion. Failure to meet standards leads to disqualification.

UP SI Running Test Details

After PST candidates appear for PET running test. Male candidates must run 4 point 8 km in 28 minutes and females 2 point 4 km in 16 minutes.

Nature of PET Test

PET checks stamina and endurance. It simulates real police duties like chasing suspects and handling emergency situations.
