In the heart of PW’s bustling office lies a group of brave souls known as the Enthusiastic Yogi Club. Every Friday, like clockwork, they gather in the Open Studio situated on the 8th floor, armed with yoga mats, water bottles, and their contagious enthusiasm. From experienced yogis to beginners, this diverse group of characters is ready to twist, turn, and have a blast!
As the clock strikes 4 in the evening, it's time to don our yoga gear and get our stretch on! Led by our expert yoga guru, the room buzzes with anticipation. We roll out our mats, take a deep breath, and delve into a world of relaxation and rejuvenation. Apart from a dedicated session, our warriors don't mind practising a few moves at their own desks. Meet Naman from the Vidyapeeth Analytics Team, the self-proclaimed "desk warrior" turned yoga prodigy. With his stiff back and tight shoulders from hours of sitting at his laptop, Naman joins the yoga session with the hope of finding some relief. Little did he know that yoga would transform him into a flexible, zen master! With limited space, Vijay Shah, The Design HOD has become an expert at twisting and bending while sitting in the office chairs. Witness the "Chair Warrior II," the "Desk Downward Dog," and the infamous "Cubicle Cat Stretch" in all his glorious absurdity.
At our Friday yoga sessions, laughter echoes through the office corridors. In a world filled with deadlines and stress, we've discovered the magic of laughter yoga. Led by our Academic Director, Mr Pramod Rana, we engage in silly exercises that have us rolling on the floor in laughter. From "giggle circles" to "laughter salutations," this contagious form of yoga brings joy and camaraderie to the PW team.
As the hour comes to an end at 5:30 PM, PWians roll up their mats with a renewed sense of energy and a big smile on their faces. Our Friday office yoga session not only brings physical well-being but also strengthens our bonds as a team, ultimately striving us to work harder and harder for our students. Through laughter, and stretching, we've created a quirky tradition that reminds us to take a moment to breathe, let loose, and find balance amidst the daily chaos.
