What is NMMS and who can apply?
The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) is a government scholarship
program aimed at supporting academically talented students from economically weaker sections.
Only students studying in class 8 who qualify the eligibility criteria set by the government can
apply for the NMMS Bihar exam.
What is the target audience for the NMMS Bihar batch?
The program is targeted at students of Class 8th who are planning to appear for the NMMS
Bihar examination in the corresponding academic year.
What is the duration and schedule of the batch?
The course begins on 1st November 2025 and ends on 31st March 2026. Syllabus
completion is planned within 50 days from the start, by the end of December 2025. Classes are
held 6 days a week, 3 Lectures per day, Monday to Saturday, with a total of 150 lectures, each
of 60 minutes duration.
What subjects and papers are covered in the NMMS Bihar Test?
There are two papers:
Paper-1: Mental Ability Test (MAT),

Paper-2: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

Covering Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), and Social Studies (Polity, History,

Classes are conducted as recorded lectures through the PW App. The weekly schedule
typically covers MAT, Maths, Science, and Social Studies across different slots from Monday
to Saturday, with tests scheduled on Sundays. This schedule may be adjusted as required.
