UP Board Exam 2026: In 2026, the students of 10 and 12 classes in Uttar Pradesh will be taking the UP Board Exams, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad.
In February 2026, the board will start administering theory exams, which will be finished in March, and students will undertake practicals (students of registered science and vocational subjects) the month before.
The exam papers have both subjective and objective questions and each examination is about 3 hours long, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, as the number of students that are taking the exam at any given time is overwhelming.
To pass the exam, students have to score 33 per cent in all subjects. The UP Board shall shortly publish a schedule and students' admit cards using the UPMSP website.
UP Board Exams 2026, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), are among the most important milestones for students in classes 9th to 12th across Uttar Pradesh.
