The eligibility criteria for WBCS 2025 require candidates to be Indian citizens, aged between 21 and 36 years (with age relaxations for reserved categories), and hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Candidates must also meet specific physical and medical standards based on the post applied for.
The WBCS 2025 exam consists of three stages: Preliminary (objective-type), Mains (descriptive-type), and Interview. The Preliminary exam has 200 multiple-choice questions, the Mains exam includes six papers, and the Interview carries 200 marks.
