Bihar Board Exam 2026, which is being conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), is a year-round, state-level exam conducted for students studying in Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) in Bihar. The teachers and school examinations are conducted in General scenarios of February and March, while practical examinations is conducted before that and BSEB is responsible for this internal assessment or practical marks.
Examination is both Objective (MCQ,) such as multiple-choice, and subjective or essay format (short answer, long answer), and will typically be based on material from the core subjects of Hindi, English, Maths, Science, and Social Science. Marks for practical or site-based assessment will also be added in subjects such as Science. Each paper is Bihar to three hours and fifteen minutes with an independent additional "reading time". To pass, candidates must achieve at least 33% (matric) or 30% (intermediate) in each subject area.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will hold the 2026 Class 10 Board Exams and Class 12 Board Exams as part of the scheduled yearly examination, enabling students across the state to showcase their learning and progress.

Bihar Board 10th Date Sheet 2026 has been released on November 29, 2025 on biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. Bihar Class 10 (Matric) theory exams will start from February 17 to 25, 2026, in two shifts: 9:30 AM–12:45 PM and 2:00 PM–5:15 PM. Practical exams will be held on January 21 and 22, 2026.
