The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has published the provisional list of 7,448 examination centres for the 2026 Class 10 and 12 board exams, covering more than 50 lakh students across the state. Schools and students have been advised to check their allotted centres without delay, as the board has set December 4, 2025, as the last date for submitting objections.
The provisional list, available on upmsp.edu.in, includes government, aided, and unaided schools across all districts. Once the objection window closes, the board will finalise the centre list and release it on December 11, 2025. The 2026 board examinations will take place from February 18 to March 12, 2026, as per the timetable announced earlier.
According to the details issued by UPMSP, the centre allocation for 2026 is divided as follows:
Government schools: 910 centres
Aided schools: 3,484 centres
Unaided schools: 3,054 centres
Totaling 7,448 centres statewide.
The list has been prepared based on infrastructure quality, CCTV coverage, seating capacity, and distance norms. District-wise PDFs have been uploaded for schools to verify the allotments against the preferences they submitted.
The board has allowed a single window for raising objections, which must be filed online before December 4. Schools may request changes for reasons such as insufficient infrastructure, long travel distance for students, or seating and logistical issues. Objections will be reviewed by district committees and school inspectors before recommendations are finalised. No submissions will be accepted after the deadline.
The UP Board exams for 2026 will begin on February 18, starting with Class 10 Hindi in the morning and Class 12 Hindi in the afternoon. The exam cycle will end on March 12, with Class 12 Sanskrit in the last session. The board has also stressed that every centre must maintain CCTV monitoring, biometric attendance, and all prescribed anti-cheating protocols.
With the provisional centre list now released, UPMSP has instructed schools and students to complete verification steps immediately, which include:
Downloading the district-wise list from the official website
Checking the assigned centre against previously submitted school data
Submitting objections before December 4
Reviewing the updated list after December 11
