CBSE Class 10 Second Board Exam Datesheet 2026: Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the Class 10 Second Board Exam Datesheet 2026, with exams scheduled from May 15 to June 1, 2026. This initiative comes under CBSE’s newly introduced two-board exam policy, aimed at reducing academic pressure and offering students a second opportunity to improve performance.
Students who appeared in the first board exam can now reappear in up to three subjects to enhance their scores. The exams will be conducted in offline mode, following the same syllabus and pattern. This system ensures flexibility, better preparation time, and a fair chance to achieve improved results without repeating the academic year.
The released date sheet outlines subject-wise exam dates, timings, and durations. Most major exams will be held in the 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM slot, while skill and vocational subjects will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The schedule is designed to provide adequate gaps between major subjects, helping students revise effectively. A wide range of language, skill-based, and optional subjects are also included, ensuring flexibility for all streams and choices.
