
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 session. Candidates who appeared for Paper 1 (Primary Stage) and Paper 2 (Elementary Stage) can now access their response sheets and the official answer keys on the official portal.
This release follows the main examinations held on February 7 and 8, 2026, as well as the re-examination conducted on March 1, 2026, at select centers in Bihar.

If you find a discrepancy in the provisional answer key, you have the right to challenge it. CBSE provides a specific window for candidates to submit objections.
Deadline: All objections must be submitted by March 15, 2026, before 11:59 PM.
Fee: Candidates must pay a processing fee of ₹1,000 per question challenged.
Refund Policy: If the challenge is accepted by the subject experts (i.e., the mistake is confirmed), the ₹1,000 fee for that specific question will be refunded to the candidate's account. If the challenge is rejected, the fee is forfeited.

Log in using your Roll Number and Date of Birth.
Select the question(s) you wish to challenge.
Upload valid supporting evidence (NCERT textbooks or standard academic references are highly recommended).
Pay the required fee online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
Submit and download the confirmation page.
Candidates can estimate their marks using the following marking scheme:
Correct Answer: +1 Mark
Incorrect Answer: 0 (No Negative Marking)
Formula: Total Score = Number of Correct Responses
To be declared "CTET Qualified," candidates must secure the following minimum marks:
General Category: 60% (90 out of 150 marks).
OBC/SC/ST/PH Categories: 55% (82 out of 150 marks).
After the objection window closes on March 15, CBSE's panel of subject experts will review all challenges. If any objections are valid, a Final Answer Key will be prepared. The CTET 2026 Result will be based solely on this final key and is expected to be announced in April 2026.
Note: Once the final answer key is published, no further requests for re-evaluation or challenges will be entertained by the board. Candidates are advised to keep their login credentials ready and complete the challenge process well before the Sunday midnight deadline.
