The board advised students to check all the details carefully after downloading the result. The revalued scorecard carries essential information about the candidate and the paper they appeared in.
This is what every student needs to understand clearly before checking their result.
Outcome 1: Marks Increased
If your revaluation shows higher marks, Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan updates your digital scorecard automatically. A revised SSLC certificate is then dispatched to your school. If increased marks change your subject grade from D to D+, your status changes from NHS (Needs Higher Studies) to EHS (Eligible for Higher Studies) — making you eligible for Plus One admissions. Contact your school as soon as this happens.
Outcome 2: No Change in Marks
If there is no change, your original marksheet stays valid as it is. This is the most common outcome — it means the original evaluation was correct.
Outcome 3: Photocopy Processed
Students who applied only for a photocopy of their answer sheet will receive the scanned copy through the portal for self-review. No marks change happens automatically through photocopy alone.
Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan offered three distinct post-result services — and they are not the same. Choosing the wrong one wastes both time and money.
| Kerala SSLC Revaluation 2026: What Were the Three Services Students Could Apply For? | |
|---|---|
| Service | What It Means |
| Revaluation | Complete rechecking by a different examiner from scratch |
| Scrutiny | Verification of totalling errors or missed answers only |
| Photocopy | Scanned copy of your evaluated answer sheet |
If you applied for Revaluation for a subject, there is usually no need to apply separately for Scrutiny for the same paper
Important: Revaluation, scrutiny, and photocopy services are strictly applicable to theory papers only. These services do not apply to IT papers, practical assessments, or stage performances.
The Kerala SSLC Result 2026 was declared with a pass percentage of 99.07%. Over 4.17 lakh students appeared for the exam held from March 5 to 30, 2026, across 3,031 examination centres. A total of 30,516 students secured full A+ grades
The pass percentage for boys stood at 98.93%, while girls outperformed them in the overall result.
This strong main result means most revaluation applicants are students who missed a critical grade boundary — particularly those near the NHS/EHS threshold.
This is the section that matters most for students awaiting this result.
