NEET UG Re-Exam 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the objection window for the NEET UG Re-Examination 2026 provisional answer key on June 28, 2026, at 11:50 PM. Candidates who appeared for the re-examination can review the provisional answer key and submit objections through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
The challenge facility has been provided to enable candidates to report discrepancies in the provisional answer key before the final answer key is prepared. After examining all objections, the NTA will release the final answer key, which will be used for result preparation.
Candidates can submit objections only through the online portal available on the official website.

Candidates challenging the provisional answer key will be required to pay a processing fee of ₹200 per question. The amount must be paid online while submitting objections.
The NTA has stated that if a challenge is accepted by the panel of subject experts, the fee paid for that particular question will be refunded. However, objections submitted without the prescribed fee will not be considered.
The agency has clarified that objections can be submitted only through online mode. Challenges sent through email, post, fax, or any other offline method will not be accepted.
Candidates can raise objections only against the answers corresponding to the Question Paper Series Code printed on the cover page of the test booklet they carried home after the examination conducted on June 21, 2026.
If an objection is found to be valid, the revised answer will be implemented uniformly across all question paper sets. Candidates are not required to file separate challenges for the same question appearing in different series codes.
Candidates can follow these steps to submit their challenges:
Visit the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
Click on the NEET UG Re-Exam Answer Key Challenge link.
Log in using your application number and password.

The NTA has advised candidates to use references from NCERT books, standard textbooks, and authentic academic sources while submitting supporting documents.
All challenges received will be evaluated by a panel of subject experts. If any objection is accepted, the provisional answer key will be revised and the corrected answer will be applied to all candidates.
The NTA has clarified that it will not communicate the outcome of individual challenges separately. Instead, it will publish the final answer key after reviewing all objections.
The agency also informed candidates that individual scanned OMR response sheets are currently unavailable as the scanning process is still underway. A separate opportunity to view the scanned OMR sheets will be provided after the process is completed.
The NEET UG Re-Exam Result 2026 is expected to be announced in July 2026, although the National Testing Agency has not yet confirmed an official date.
