Security: What's Different This Time
The Re-NEET 2026 comes with an overhauled exam security framework:
- One of the most significant measures this year is the involvement of the Indian Air Force (IAF) in the transportation of question papers — announced by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to ensure secure and timely movement of examination materials across the country.
- Mandatory Aadhaar biometric authentication is required at all centres, and zero-trust internal protocols have been introduced, meaning no single NTA official has full paper visibility.
- Officials have deployed a combination of biometric checks, AI-based surveillance, GPS tracking, signal jammers, tighter paper handling protocols, and increased police oversight alongside the IAF logistics support.
- The entire question paper transport and distribution system has been placed under a strengthened government-controlled security mechanism, significantly reducing the role of private agencies.
