 Territorial Army CBT Exam Pattern 2025

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is the first round of the selection process in the Territorial Army Recruitment 2025. Candidates need to appear in an online test. Candidates get 100 questions from Reasoning, Elementary Maths, General Knowledge, and English sections in the exam. The total marks for 100 questions are 100 marks.  Territorial Army Selection Process 2025 SSB Round

Candidates are invited to participate in the SSB round after qualifying in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). It is the multi-step process to test the thinking and problem-solving abilities of the candidates. SSB Round is conducted by the Territorial Army Authorities to check whether a candidate can handle the leadership roles while serving in the Indian Army. 

Documents Needed for Territorial Army Officer Selection Process 2025

1. Download Application Form IAF (TA)-9 (Revised) Part-2 from the Territorial Army Officer application website and complete it in their own handwriting.
2. Essential educational qualification certificates obtained post-matriculation.
3. A current medical physical fitness certificate obtained from a primary health care center, a government hospital, or a certified MBBS doctor registered with the appropriate medical council.
4. Photocopy of identity proof (Voter ID/PAN Card/Aadhar Card/Passport/Driving license, etc.).
5. Domicile certificate or alternative proof of residency.
6. Certificate confirming the correct age (Matric/Senior Secondary mark sheet and certificate validating the date of birth).
7. Service Certificate for individuals employed in the Central Government/Union Territory/State/Semi-Government/Private Sector, duly authenticated by the Head of Office. Additionally, a No Objection Certificate in the specified format from the department is required.
8. Self-employed candidates should provide an affidavit on a non-judicial stamp paper, certified and detailing the nature of their work and annual income. This should be accompanied by a photocopy of the PAN card and a self-attested character certificate.
9. In case of name discrepancies, candidates must produce a copy of the India/State Gazette notification indicating the correct name or an affidavit supported by newspaper cuttings.
10. Duplicate of the Release Order.
11. Copy of the proceedings of the Release Medical Board.
12. Income proof from the latest authorities (i.e., Income Tax Revenue Department / Magistrate / Employer, as applicable).
13. Duplicate of the PAN (Permanent Account Number) card.
14. For unique identification, a copy of the candidate's Aadhaar card.
15. Copies of all course certificates and reports.
16. Discharge Papers/Service Specific Booklet.
17. Copy of the most recent Income Tax Return (ITR) as verification of income.
18. Railway employees must furnish a No Objection Certificate validated by the Railway Board.

 Territorial Army Medical Examination 2025

Territorial Army Medical Examination is conducted to check the fitness ofthe  candidate in speaking, hearing, and vision. Therefore, candidates undergo a medical examination after qualifying in CBT, SSB, and Document Verification rounds. The final result is declared, determining the fitness of the candidate to serve in the Territorial Army. After the medical examination, a candidate is declared FIT or UNFIT by the authorities.
