Additionally, the form process now includes live webcam photo capture and an Aadhaar-based auto–data fetch feature, which automatically fills candidate details like name, date of birth, gender, and address through UIDAI. These updates aim to reduce errors and improve identity verification. The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam is scheduled between January 21 – January 30, 2026, while Session 2 will be held from April 1 – April 10, 2026. NTA has also indicated plans to increase exam centres nationwide to ensure smoother access for candidates, including dedicated facilities for PwD/PwBD candidates.
