Q: Is the syllabus different for the May 2026 exam? A: No. CBSE has clarified that the syllabus and exam pattern will be identical to the Main Board Examination held earlier this year.
Q: I want to change my exam center. Is it possible? A: No. Once you select your preferred city in the online form, CBSE will allot a center within that city. This allotment is final and non-transferable.
Q: Can I apply for 5 subjects for improvement? A: No, the second exam policy currently limits improvement to a maximum of three subjects for Class 10.
Q: What if I make a mistake in my subject code? A: You can only make corrections until the final fee payment or the last date of submission. Double-check your language codes (e.g., Hindi A vs. Hindi B) before hitting submit.
Q: Do I need to send the printout to the CBSE regional office? A: No. The entire process is paperless. Keep the downloaded confirmation page for your own records and for downloading the admit card later.
