The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially activated the CUET UG 2026 Centre Re-Allocation window. This critical update is specifically for candidates who found their allotted exam cities to be different from their top four choices. With the CUET UG 2026 exam dates fast approaching, this is a final opportunity for students to align their test locations with their convenience.
Following the release of the CUET UG 2026 City Intimation Slip on April 29, a small percentage of students (approx. 3.4%) were assigned centres outside their preferred cities due to high candidate density in states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Delhi. To ensure smooth logistics for these 15.68 lakh registered candidates, NTA is allowing a one-time modification based on first-come, first-served availability.
If you are unhappy with your current allotment, follow these precise steps to request a change:
Visit Official Portal: Go to the official website at cuet.nta.nic.in.
Access Link: Click on the link "Selection of Revised Exam State/City/Date/Shift" under the 'Latest News' section.
Secure Login: Enter your application number and password/date of birth.
Modify Details: Choose your preferred city or shift from the list of available vacant slots.
Final Review: Double-check your selections, as changes cannot be undone after submission.
Download Confirmation: Save the revised request page for your records.
Limited Seats: Revised centres are allotted based on slot availability for your specific subject combinations. If a city is full, it will not appear in the options.
No Action Needed: If you are satisfied with your current allotment, you do not need to log in or make any changes.
Revised Admit Cards: Students who successfully change their details will be issued a new CUET UG 2026 Admit Card before the exam starts.
Mandatory Attendance: If you miss this window, you must appear at the originally allotted centre.
