  • Reporting Time: One needs to arrive at the examination centre at least 60 minutes before the exam to allow time for security checks and mandatory verification.

  • Conduct: Maintain complete silence inside the examination hall. Any act of indiscipline with other candidates will result in immediate disqualification.

  • Leaving Hall: Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall until the exam duration is officially complete and the invigilator permits them.

Prohibited Items at KCET Exam Centers

To ensure a fair, transparent, and secure examination environment, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) enforces strict rules regarding items allowed inside the KCET 2026 exam hall.  Candidates are prohibited from carrying the following items inside the KCET 2026 examination center:

  • Electronic Devices: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, electronic writing pads, pagers, or any kind of Bluetooth device.

  • Study Material: Books, notes, written or printed material, or loose sheets of paper.

  • Personal Belongings: Bags, purses, wallets, goggles, or caps.

  • Jewelry or Accessories: Any kind of metallic item, heavy jewellery 

  • Stationery (Except Ballpoint Pen): Geometry box, pencil box, correction fluid, whitener, or eraser.

Important: Possession of any prohibited item will be treated as an act of malpractice and will lead to the cancellation of the application.
