Supplementary Exams (Purak Pariksha)
Exam Date: These exams will be held in June 2026 for students who failed or wish to improve their marks.
If a student feels that their marks are lower than expected, the Gujarat Board provides a formal process to review the answer sheets. There are two main options: GSEB Re-checking and Revaluation.
1. Verification of Marks (Re-checking): In this process, the board officials check if all answers were marked and if the total sum of the marks is correct. They do not re-read the answers. Students must apply online through the official GSEB website and pay a small fee per subject.
2. Revaluation (Paper Observation): This is a more detailed process where students can request to see their evaluated answer sheets. If they find that a correct answer was given zero marks or was ignored, they can challenge the evaluation.
