West Bengal UG Admission 2024: The West Bengal Department of Higher Education started the West Bengal UG Admission 2024 on June 24. Those interested in applying for UG programs through the West Bengal Centralised Admission Process can register online at wbcap.in.

B.A. (Hons.)
  • An aggregate of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.
  • The merit shall be determined based on one language and three of the best elective subjects.
  • The applicants must have studied and passed the [subject] in the qualifying exam for admission to B.A. (Honours) in that subject.
B.A.
  • An aggregate of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.

West Bengal UG Eligibility Criteria for B.Com

B.Com (Hons.)
  • For admission to B. Com. (Hons.), it is required to have studied and passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics in the qualifying examination.
  • The selection process will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, which includes one language and the three best subjects. To be eligible, applicants must have achieved an aggregate of 45% or more in English/Bengali and a combination of the best three subjects, which may include Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/Commerce.
  • 45% aggregate marks in the last qualifying exam
B.Com
  • An aggregate of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.
  • Candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in their qualifying examinations, which include one language and the three best subjects. To be eligible for selection, applicants must achieve an aggregate of 50% or more in English/ Bengali and a combination of the best three subjects, which may include Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/Commerce.

B.Sc.(Hons)
  • For admission to B. Sc. (Hons.), it is required to have studied and passed Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology in the qualifying examination.
  • The selection process will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, which includes one language and the three best subjects. To be eligible, applicants must have achieved an aggregate of 50% or more in English/Bengali and a combination of the best three subjects, which may include Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
  • 50% aggregate marks in the last qualifying exam
  • Candidates must secure at least 60% marks in the subject they are interested in applying for honors.
B.Sc.
  • An aggregate of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.
  • Candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in their qualifying examinations, which include one language and the three best subjects. To be eligible for selection, applicants must achieve an aggregate of 50% or more in English/ Bengali and a combination of the best three subjects, which may include Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
