APTRANSCO AEE Vacancy 2026 has been announced with 205 posts for the civil, electrical, and telecom departments. Candidates can check the zone-wise vacancy distribution provided in the table.

APTRANSCO AEE Eligibility 2026

To apply for these positions, candidates must fulfil the age limits and educational criteria set by the corporation.

• Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and must not be older than 42 years as of July 1, 2026.

• Age Relaxation: Candidates from SC, ST, BC, and EWS categories get a relaxation of 5 years, making their maximum age limit 47 years. Candidates with disabilities get a relaxation of 10 years, making their maximum age limit 52 years.

• Educational Qualification for AEE (Electrical): Candidates must have a regular degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a university recognised by UGC and AICTE.

• Educational Qualification for AEE (Telecom): Candidates must hold an engineering degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.

• Educational Qualification for AEE (Civil): Candidates must possess a regular degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised college

APTRANSCO AEE Selection Process 2026

APTRANSCO AEE Selection Process 2026 is based on a merit list prepared through a written test.  

• Computer-Based Test (CBT): The primary step is an online computer-based exam. The paper will be in English only. The test duration is 3 hours.  

• Marking System: The exam carries 100 marks in total. 70 marks come from the core engineering subjects, and 30 marks come from general topics like reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, English language, and computer basics. 

• There is no negative marking for wrong answers. 

•  Qualifying Marks: To pass the test, open category (OC) and EWS candidates must score at least 40% marks. BC candidates need 35% marks, and SC, ST, and disabled candidates need at least 30% marks. 

•  Certificate Verification: Candidates who score well will be called in a 1:1 ratio based on their rank for verifying original documents.  

APTRANSCO AEE Salary 2026

The newly selected engineers will have to undergo a probationary period for two years on duty within a continuous frame of three years.

• Remuneration During Probation: During these initial two years of probation, the candidates will get a fixed APTRANSCO AEE Salary 2026 of Rs. 75,000.

• Regular Pay Scale: After finishing the probation smoothly, the candidates will be placed into the regular pay scale. The official time scale of pay is Rs. 86,245 to Rs. 2,08,915 along with other admissible allowances.

Selected candidates must sign a service bond on stamped paper. The bond states that they will serve the organisation for at least 5 years after completing their probation. They must also work in rural or remote field locations for the first 5 years of service.
