Bangalore Complex

The Bangalore Complex has 400 training slots. Major trades include Mechanical/Automobile, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Civil, Information Science/Computer Science and allied branches, BBA, B.Com, BCA/B.Sc, COPA, Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Diesel Mechanic, Turner and Welder.

Mysore Complex

The Mysore Complex offers 227 training slots. Opportunities are available in engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Industrial Production, Automobile, Computer Science and allied branches, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Civil, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Aeronautical, along with diploma and graduate apprenticeship trades.

KGF Complex

The KGF Complex has 608 training slots. The available opportunities include engineering, diploma and ITI trades such as Mechanical, Automobile, Civil, Computer Science and allied branches, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, COPA, Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Diesel Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Turner and Welder.

Palakkad Complex

The Palakkad Complex has 111 training slots across Graduate, Diploma and ITI apprenticeship categories. Trades include Mechanical/Automobile, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, BBA, B.Com, BCA/B.Sc IT, COPA, Electrician, Fitter, Plumber, MMV, Carpenter, Welder and Sheet Metal Worker.

BEML Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification for the apprenticeship trade for which they are applying.

Candidates who have passed their final examination within three years from the closing date of application are eligible. Candidates awaiting their final examination results are not eligible. Candidates must also be at least 17 years old.

The qualification must be obtained through a full-time regular course from a recognised institute or university. Qualifications obtained through part-time, correspondence, distance education or online mode are not eligible.

Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any organisation for any duration are not eligible.

Educational Qualification

The required qualification varies according to the apprenticeship category.

Graduate Apprentice

For technical graduate apprentices, candidates should have a 4-year full-time engineering degree in the relevant discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Automobile, Information Science, E&T, AI & ML or Aeronautical.

For general graduate apprentices, eligible qualifications include B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA and BBA (HR).

Diploma Apprentice

Candidates should possess a 3-year full-time diploma in the relevant discipline, including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Automobile and other specified branches.

ITI Apprentice

ITI candidates can apply for the notified trades, including Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, COPA, Mechanic Diesel, Carpenter, Tool and Die Making, Sheet Metal Worker, Plumber, MAEE, MMV and Electronic Mechanic.

Steps to BEML Apprentice Apply Online 2026

Candidates must complete registration on the appropriate apprenticeship portal before applying through BEML.

Step 1: Register on NAPS/NATS

ITI candidates should register on NAPS through the Apprenticeship India portal, while eligible Degree/Diploma candidates should register on NATS and complete their profiles with the required documents.

Step 2: Apply on BEML Website

After obtaining the NAPS/NATS registration or enrolment number, candidates should visit the BEML recruitment portal and select the Apprentices section.

Candidates need to complete the online application and upload the required information and documents. Applications are accepted only through the official BEML website.

Is There Any Application Fee?

No. BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026 does not require an application fee. The notification also confirms that there will be no written examination or interview for applicants.

Documents Required for BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Candidates should keep the following documents ready while applying:

• NAPS/NATS registration or enrolment number

• Educational certificates and mark sheets

• Matriculation certificate as proof of age

• SC/ST/OBC-NCL certificate, wherever applicable

BEML Apprentice Selection Process 2026

There will be no written examination or interview. Applications will first be screened according to the prescribed eligibility and qualification requirements.

BEML will prepare a location-wise and trade-wise merit list based on the percentage of marks obtained in the final qualifying examination. Candidates will be called for document verification in a ratio of 1:5 against the available training slots.

After document verification, the provisional merit list will be prepared in order of merit. Eligible candidates will receive the offer of engagement subject to availability of training slots.

BEML Apprentice Training Duration

The total apprenticeship training period is one year from the date of joining. The apprenticeship will end after completion of one year, and the notification states that no further extension will be permitted.

Selected apprentices cannot enrol in or undergo another regular course or job during the apprenticeship tenure. They will also be evaluated periodically based on their performance.

BEML Apprentice Stipend 2026

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend according to their qualification and trade.

The ITI stipend varies according to the trade. The stipend is subject to satisfactory performance and attendance during the apprenticeship.
