CMET Recruitment 2025: The Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has announced new job openings for temporary Project Staff. There are 10 vacancies for posts like Project Scientist, Project Fellow, and Project Engineer. The selection will be done through a Walk-in Interview on November 3 and 4, 2025, at the C-MET Hyderabad campus. CMET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Before attending the walk-in interview, candidates should carefully check their eligibility for the post they want to apply for. The eligibility includes nationality, age limit, and educational qualification. Only Indian citizens can apply. Age relaxation will be given as per the Government of India rules.

Max Age: 35 years (UR), 38 years (OBC) Education: Ph.D. in a related subject (like Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, etc.) OR M.E./M.Tech with 3 years of research experience. |

Max Age: 28 years (UR) Education: M.Sc. (with 60% marks) and NET qualified OR B.Tech./B.E. (with 60% marks) and GATE qualified. |

Project Engineer |
Max Age: 32 years (UR) Education: B.Tech./B.E. (with 60% marks) in Metallurgy, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience. |
CMET Salary 2025
The jobs at CMET are temporary, and the selected candidates will get a fixed monthly salary along with HRA (House Rent Allowance). These posts also include medical reimbursement up to one month’s basic pay. The job will last only till the project ends.
