Part A Syllabus - General Aptitude (90 Marks, 90 Questions)

Part A of the GSSSB Additional Assistant Engineer Syllabus 2026 carries 90 marks spread across 5 sections. Each question carries 1 mark.

(1) Reasoning & Data Interpretation

This is the highest-weighted section in Part A. Topics covered:

(4) Current Affairs 

This section covers current events of state, national and international importance. Read daily news from reliable sources and focus on Gujarat state-level news alongside national and global events of the past 6–12 months.

(5) Comprehension

This section tests your reading, interpretation, and inference skills in both Gujarati and English. A paragraph is given followed by a set of questions based on it. Statement and assertion-type questions may also be asked.

Part B Syllabus - Technical (X-Ray Technician) - 120 Marks, 120 Questions

Part B of the GSSSB AAE Syllabus 2026 is entirely technical and based on your qualification as an X-Ray Technician. It carries the highest weight in the entire exam - 120 out of 210 marks.

(1) Radiophysics 

This is the foundation of the entire technical section. Topics:
