The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online. Candidates in categories such as SC/ST/PWBD/ESM/Departmental candidates only have to pay the processing fee.

SAIL Selection Process 2025

SAIL Recruitment 2025 is rigorous, ensuring only the most suitable candidates are selected. The entire selection will be based on a multi-stage process, with the initial screening being the Written/Online Test (CBT).

• Written Exam/Online Test (CBT): Provisionally eligible candidates will appear for an objective-type CBT of 100 multiple-choice questions.

• Interview/Skill Test/Trade Test:
  
  AM (Safety) (E1): Candidates shortlisted from the CBT will be called for an Interview in a 1:3 ratio.
  
  Jr Engineering Associate (S3): Candidates shortlisted from the CBT will be called for a Skill Test/Trade Test in a 1:3 ratio. The Skill/Trade Test will be qualifying in nature.

• Final Selection:
  
  AM (Safety): Merit list is drawn by combining CBT and Interview scores with a weightage of 80:20.
  
  Jr Engineering Associate: Based purely on the CBT score (100% weightage), provided the candidate qualifies the Skill Test.

• Document Verification: All certificates and documents will be verified during the interview/skill test/trade test.

• Medical Examination: Final appointment is subject to passing the Company's Medical Examination as per SAIL's standards.
