The Staff Selection Commission has released a critical alert for all students preparing for the SSC JE 2025 examination, scheduled in the first week of December. This new update directly affects your SSC JE exam city allocation, slot booking, and ultimately, the admit card generation.
If you're preparing for Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering posts under the SSC JE 2025 recruitment cycle, this notice is something you cannot afford to ignore.
SSC has made it very clear:
SSC JE Admit Card 2025 will NOT be issued if the self-slot or exam city selection is incomplete.
Candidate will NOT be scheduled for SSC JE Paper-1 without selecting a city.
This means missing the deadline = no exam attempt this year.
The original window for SSC JE self-slot selection was open from 10 November to 13 November 2025. Many aspirants completed the process on time. But those who didn’t are now being offered a one-time rescue option.
