SSC JE CBT-2 2026 Dress Code: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has set some guidelines for the male and female candidates regarding the SSC JE CBT-2 2026 Dress Code. SSC JE CBT 2 exam 2026 will begin from April 7, 2026. All the candidates need to follow the dress code guidelines. It is convenient for the security authorities to complete the security check. Therefore, security can allow the candidates to appear for the Junior Engineer CBT 2 examination.
SSC JE CBT-2 2026 Dress Code Guidelines have been set by the commission. Candidates should follow the clothing and footwear-related guidelines to appear for the examination.
The main rule for the exam is to keep things simple. Candidates should wear light clothes that do not have many pockets or heavy designs.
Shirts and Tops: It is best to wear half-sleeve shirts or T-shirts. If a candidate wears full sleeves, they may be asked to fold them up to the elbow.
Bottoms: Plain trousers or simple jeans are allowed. Avoid "cargo" pants because they have too many pockets.
Buttons: Clothes should have small buttons. Large or fancy decorative buttons are not allowed.
The exam centre has strict rules about what goes on your feet.
Slippers and Sandals: Candidates are advised to wear open footwear like slippers or sandals with thin soles.
No Shoes: Avoid wearing shoes, especially those with thick soles. Security staff often ask candidates to remove shoes before entering the room.
Many items are strictly banned inside the exam hall. If a candidate brings these, they might not be allowed to enter.
Jewellery: Do not wear rings, earrings, nose pins, chains, or bracelets. Metal items can set off the metal detectors.
Gadgets: Digital watches, smartwatches, mobile phones, and Bluetooth devices are strictly forbidden.
Other Items: Belts with large metal buckles, caps, scarves, and wallets should be left outside.
SSC JE CBT-2 Documents To Carry At Exam Centre includes the required documents serving as the ID proof for the candidates. The security can complete the verification and allow the candidates to appear in the JE examination.
