SSC JE Preference Form Link Active: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an important notice regarding the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) 2025 Examination. Candidates who appeared in Paper-II of the SSC JE 2025 exam must submit their Option-Cum-Preference form before the final result is declared.
The Option-Cum-Preference form allows candidates to choose their preferred posts and organisations. The form link is active from June 10 to June 14, 2026. Candidates need to complete the post-preference process on-time without missing the deadline.

SSC has activated the Option-Cum-Preference facility through the Candidate Login section on its official website.

• Important Dates: 10 June 2026 (5:00 PM) to 14 June 2026 (11:59 PM).

• Candidates should complete the process within this period. No extension is expected after the closing date.

SSC JE option-cum-preference form should be submitted through the online mode. Candidates get access to choose the preferred posts depending on their merit. Candidates can follow these simple steps to submit their SSC JE 2025 Option-Cum-Preference Form.

Step 1: Visit the official SSC website ssc.gov.in and log in through the Candidate Login portal.

Step 2: After logging in, go to the “My Application” tab.

Step 3: Find and open the Option-Cum-Preference Form for Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer Examination 2025.

Step 4: Select your preferred posts and organisations carefully based on your choice.

Step 5: Review all selected preferences properly before final submission to avoid any mistakes.

Step 6: Click on the Submit option to complete the process.

Step 7: After successful submission, check your registered email ID for the confirmation message.

Important Instructions for PwBD Candidates

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates should select only those posts that are suitable for their disability category.

If a candidate is selected for a post that is not identified as suitable for the concerned disability, the candidature may be cancelled by the user organisation. The commission holds the right to cancel the candidature of the candidate. Be careful when submitting the preferences in the SSC JE online portal. Complete the process before the deadline.

Candidates planning to choose Junior Engineer posts in the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) should first check the required physical and medical standards mentioned in the examination notice.

What Happens if the Preference Form is Not Submitted?

SSC has stated that candidates need to submit their preferences using the official website. It should be completed before the last date, which is June 14, 2026. Any candidate is unable to complete the process of choosing the preferred post. Then, SSC will allocate the posts depending on the merit scores.
