SSC JE Slot Selection 2025 Window Announced: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially activated the slot booking window for the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) Examination 2025.
According to the official notice released on November 7, 2025, registered candidates can log in to the SSC candidate portal (ssc.gov.in) from November 10 to 13, 2025, to choose their exam date, shift, and city.
This update signals that the SSC JE 2025 Paper 1 Exam is just around the corner and the admit card release can be expected soon after slot booking closes.
The SSC JE Slot Selection is an online facility allowing candidates to choose their exam slot preferences—city, date, and shift—before the admit cards are released.
This feature, introduced to make the process more transparent, ensures that candidates can appear for the exam at a convenient location and schedule, based on availability.

For the first time, SSC is offering a self-slot booking feature for JE aspirants.
This initiative aims to:
Reduce travel inconvenience for candidates.
Maintain fair allocation of examination centres.
Provide flexibility and transparency in the examination process.
This move aligns SSC with other national-level exams like GATE and CUET, which already use slot selection mechanisms.
Slot once booked cannot be modified.
Candidates must download the confirmation slip for safety.
SSC reserves the right to change the centre in case of technical or logistical issues.
OTP-based authentication is mandatory to finalise the slot.
Candidates should check the exam guidelines in advance to avoid last-minute errors.
