Unlike Officer Scale-I, which has Preliminary and Main examinations, Officer Scale-II Specialist Cadre candidates appear for a Single Online Examination. Shortlisted candidates are subsequently called for the Common Interview.
For Officer Scale-II Specialist Cadre, the exam consists of 240 questions, with a maximum of 200 marks, and a total duration of 150 minutes.

Candidates can opt for either English Language or Hindi Language in the relevant section. The notification also states that IBPS reserves the right to modify the examination structure, including duration, if required.
There will be negative marking in the objective tests. For every question answered incorrectly, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
There is no penalty for a question left unanswered.
The selection process for Officer Scale-II Agriculture Officer comprises:
Single Online Examination → Interview → Provisional Allotment
Candidates appearing for the Agriculture Officer post will first have to qualify in the Single Online Examination. Candidates shortlisted based on the examination will then be called for a Common Interview.
The interviews for Officers Scale-I, II and III will be coordinated by the Nodal RRBs with the assistance of NABARD and IBPS.
