Candidates do not need to fill out a separate online application form on a portal. Instead, applicants can apply through email or report directly for the walk-in interview.
Through Email: Candidates appearing via online video conferencing must send their filled application form along with self-attested supporting documents (marksheets, certificates, proof of age) to dirdogr@gmail.com on or before August 17, 2026.
Walk-In-Interview: Candidates attending in person must arrive at ICAR-DOGR, Pune, on August 25, 2026, 60 minutes before the scheduled interview time (10:00 AM). They must bring the filled application form with a passport photo affixed, self-attested photocopies, and original documents for verification.
Candidates must meet the following ICAR Eligibility Criteria 2026 to participate in the selection process:
Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of India.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Biotechnology, Horticulture, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Statistics, or Agri-Business Management. Alternatively, a B.Tech degree in Agricultural Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Food Processing, Food Engineering, Post-Harvest Technology, or Food Science is accepted.
Desirable Experience: Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with agricultural field trials or laboratory work are desirable.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 years and 45 years of age on the last date of application submission. Age relaxations apply as per government rules.
ICAR Selection Process 2026 comprises multiple rounds depending on the recruitment process to evaluate the candidates' knowledge and skills.
Document Verification: Screening of submitted application forms, educational certificates, identity proofs, and experience documents.
Walk-In / Online Interview: Eligible candidates appear for a personal interview on August 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM at ICAR-DOGR, Pune, or via video conferencing.
Medical Fitness: Final selected candidates must present a medical fitness certificate at the time of joining.
Selected candidates for the Young Professional-I post will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration:
ICAR Recruitment 2026 Salary: ₹30,000 per month (Fixed).
No Travelling Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the interview. Official accommodation is also not offered.
