JKSSB Agriculture Eligibility Criteria 2026 includes the minimum requirements of domicile, educational qualification, and age limit. 

Domicile

Candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued on or before October 9, 2026.

Educational Qualification

• Senior Canning Attendant: Matric or its equivalent qualification with 06 (six) months training in Fruit Preservation.

• Horticulture Technician Grade-IV: 10+2 with one year Basic Horticulture training passed.

• Health Educator: Graduation with Science from any recognised University.

• Sanitary Inspector: 10+2 or above qualification with minimum 2-year Diploma in Sanitation and Public Health from any recognised Institute/ State Medical Faculty/ J&K State Para Medical Council.

• Junior Pharmacist: Minimum 10+2 with Science having Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy Course from any recognised Institute.

• Para Medical Assistant: 10+2 with Diploma in Para Medical Assistant Course from any recognised Institute.

Age Limit (as on January 1, 2026)

• Open Merit (OM): Maximum 40 years

• SC / ST-1 / ST-2 / RBA / ALC/IB / EWS / OBC: Maximum 43 years

• Physically Challenged (PwBD): Maximum 42 years

JKSSB Agriculture Selection Process 2026 comprises two rounds, including a written exam and document verification. 

1. Written Examination: An objective-type test with multiple-choice questions set in English. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks (one-fourth) for every incorrect answer. Selection depends purely on the merit obtained in this exam.

2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must present their original educational, domicile, and category certificates for verification.
