Rajasthan JET 2027 Affiliated Universities & Colleges

Admission through JET is available in five major universities in Rajasthan, along with numerous private colleges.

The five major universities where admission can be secured include:

• SK RAU, Bikaner

• AU Jodhpur (Agriculture University)

• MPUAT Udaipur (Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology) – often the first choice for many students.

• AU Kota

• SKAU Jobner

Additionally, there are 10 ICAR-recognized colleges and many private colleges where JET scores are accepted. Examples of ICAR-recognized colleges include:

Rajasthan JET 2027 Eligibility Criteria (Patrata)

To be eligible for the JET examination:

• Age Limit: Candidates must be 16 years old by the specified date and not exceed 25 years of age.

• Academic Stream: Students from Agriculture, Biology, or Mathematics streams in 12th grade are eligible.

• Academic Performance:

• General category students require a minimum of 50% marks in 12th grade.

• SC, ST, and PwD candidates require a minimum of 45% marks in 12th grade.

• Domicile Requirement:

• For Government Universities and Government Seats: Candidates must have studied in Rajasthan for three consecutive years or possess a Rajasthan domicile certificate.

• For Private Colleges: Students from other states are eligible for up to 50% of the seats.

Rajasthan JET 2027 Exam Pattern

The JET examination requires candidates to choose three subjects from a combination of Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

Marking Scheme:

• Each correct answer receives 4 marks.

• There is negative marking: 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. This is a 4:1 ratio.

• The total paper is for 480 marks.

• The exam consists of 120 questions.

• The examination is conducted in offline mode using an OMR sheet.

• Government Seats: Approximately 4600 to 5000 seats. These are highly competitive due to lower costs and university degrees.

• Private College Seats: Available for students with lower ranks; however, the quality of faculty and campus can vary.

It is strongly advised to target a Government University with a Normal Seat due to lower fees, better faculty, and the prestige of a government degree. Achieving this requires scoring high due to high competition.
