UPSSSC AGTA 2026 Document Process: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is now moving forward with the Agricultural Technical Assistant (AGTA) recruitment. This process was pending for almost two years. Now, the commission has opened the portal for candidates to upload their documents. Candidates can complete the UPSSSC AGTA 2026 document process using the official portal before April 5, 2026, through the online mode.
The recruitment for AGTA started in early 2024. At that time, more than 3,400 vacancies were available. However, many legal issues started in the High Court. Some people filed petitions, and the process stopped. Because of these legal problems, the recruitment stayed pending for a long time. Now, the government wants to finish all the old work. They are under pressure to give jobs to the youth. This is why the portal is open again for the candidate.
UPSSC has announced the important dates that every candidate must follow to upload the documents as per the guidelines. They should complete the UPSSSC AGTA 2026 Document Process before the last date, which is April 5, 2026.
Start Date: March 6, 2026
Last Date: April 5, 2026
Every candidate must visit the official UPSSSC website to start the process. The portal requires specific details for a successful login. The candidate needs to have the following information ready:
Registration Number: This is the number given during the first application.
OTP (One Time Password): This will come to the registered mobile number.
Verification Code: This is the text shown in a small image on the screen.
Once logged in, the candidate can upload the required files. These files usually include educational certificates and identity proof. The government is working fast now. This means the 3,446 vacancies from the previous cycle might be filled soon.
The government needs more staff in the agriculture department. Experts believe that after this process ends, a new notification might come. The new recruitment could have 2,000 to 3,000 more seats for interested candidates. If the commission combines the empty seats from 2025 and 2026, the number of jobs will be very high. This is great news for students who study agriculture.
