To claim OBC age relaxation:

  • Candidates must have a valid OBC (NCL) certificate.

  • The certificate must include the Non-Creamy Layer clause as prescribed by the Government of India.

  • Candidates belonging to the OBC Creamy Layer category cannot claim OBC reservation benefits and must apply under the General category.

SC/ST Age Relaxation in Bank Exams

Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are eligible for 5 years of upper age relaxation.

Candidates must submit a valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format to avail this benefit.

PwBD Age Relaxation in Bank Exams

Candidates belonging to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category are eligible for 10 years of upper age relaxation.

The relaxation is provided as per the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

Ex-Servicemen Age Relaxation in Bank Exams

Eligible Ex-Servicemen candidates are eligible for 5 years of upper age relaxation.

This benefit is available to eligible:

  • Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)

  • Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs)
