PNB Apprentice Selection Process 2026: With the PNB Apprentice Notification 2026 released on 6 February 2026, candidates planning to appear for the exam must clearly understand the selection process before starting their preparation.

The PNB Apprentice Selection Process 2026 consists of three stages. Phase 1 is the Online Written Examination. Candidates who qualify in this stage are shortlisted for Phase 2 – the Local Language Test. Those who clear the language test are then called for the Medical Examination.

PNB Apprentice Selection Process 

Punjab National Bank conducts PNB Apprentice Recruitment every year for aspirants in the banking sector. Recently, PNB released the details of the PNB Apprentice Selection Process 2026 for banking aspirants.

PNB Apprentice Exam Pattern 2026

  • Mode of Punjab National Bank Apprentice exam  -  computer-based mode.
  • There are a total of 100 multiple-choice questions for a total of 100 marks
  • Duration of the exam is 60 minutes (1 Hour).
  • The language of the PNB Apprentice Exam will be set in English / Hindi.

PNB Apprentice Local Language Test

Candidates can apply for this SBI Apprentice Recruitment Exam from only one state.  For example, if you are applying from Uttar Pradesh, you cannot apply from Bihar at the same time. A candidate applying from a particular state should know the local language of that state as mentioned in the official notification. He must read, write, speak and understand the language well according to the parameters set for the exam. Candidates must clear the local language test of SBI Apprentice before that, after you have cleared the online written exam. Applicants who do not pass this local language test will not be eligible for the apprentice.

PNB Apprentice Medical Exam

Apart from the online written test and language test, the candidates will finally have to undergo a medical examination as required by the bank.  This test tests whether you are capable enough to do your job well. Medical qualification is important in this job as in any other job. A man of sound mind and physique is considered fit for such jobs. So get ready to take this exam and get selected.

PNB Apprentice Document Verification

After the declaration of the PNB Apprentice Final Result, the officials will request all successful candidates to submit all required documents for verification. If they do not submit any of the following documents, their candidacy will be rejected.

  • Caste Certificate, if applicable.
  • Disability Certificate, if applicable.
  • Scanned copies of the application form.
  • Marksheet/Degree of educational qualifications.
