Candidates must achieve at least a minimum score in every section of the test as well as a minimum overall score in the online test to be considered for the Interview. The scores obtained in the online examination will not be disclosed to candidates who have been shortlisted for the interview until the interview process is complete.

The Punjab and Sind Bank LBO interview carries 50 marks. Interview marks are converted to a score out of 30 for the final merit list. The final merit list considers 70% of the written exam marks (converted from 120) and 30% of the interview marks.
Proficiency in the local language (reading, writing, and comprehension) is an essential requirement, and a knowledge assessment of the chosen local language for the applied State will be carried out as part of the selection procedure along with a personal interview. This will take place for candidates who are provisionally selected before they join the Bank. Candidates who present a mark sheet or certificate from the 10th or 12th standard showing that they studied the selected local language of the applied State as one of the subjects will not need to take the language test.
The final selection for appointment as Local Bank Offcier in Punjab and Sind Bank will be made from the candidates who secured high marks on the merit list, created state-wise and by category, as well as based on their results in the language proficiency test (if required to be conducted).
Candidates must qualify in both written tests and interviews individually. The overall final scores of candidates will be determined based on the scores achieved by the candidates in the Online test (70% weightage) and Personal Interview (30% weightage). Marks obtained in the written test (out of 120) is converted to a scale of 70 marks, and interview scores of candidates (out of 50) will be converted to a scale of 30 marks. The final merit list is compiled state-wise after aggregating (out of 100) the converted marks from both written tests and interviews.
