RBI Assistant Shift Timing & Reporting Time: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the RBI Assistant Exam Date 2026. The Assistant position exam will commence from 11 April to 13 April 2026. Candidates need to follow the RBI Assistant shift timing & reporting time mentioned in the call letter. They should arrive at the test centre on time to write the exam. Don’t forget to carry the required documents, including the admit card, ID proof, and photograph, to the centre. 

 RBI Assistant Shift-Wise Timing For April Exam

RBI Assistant reporting time details, along with the shift timing, have been provided for the candidates. The assistant examination will be organised in four shifts over one day from 11 April to 13 April 2026. It is as per the RBI Assistant Exam Schedule. Candidates need to reach the test centre on time to complete the entry formalities for the exam.

RBI Assistant Exam Schedule 

RBI Assistant Prelims Exam Schedule has been announced. The exam will commence as per the schedule from April 11 to April 13. Candidates who have applied for the RBI Assistant profile. They need to appear for the prelims exam along with the printed copy of the call letter, ID proof, and a photograph. It is for the verification check. 

RBI Assistant Prelims Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates appearing for the RBI Assistant Prelims examination must follow the exam day guidelines, including reaching the test centre on the reporting time. RBI Assistant Reporting Time has been mentioned in the call letter. It is important for the candidates to follow the call letter instructions to reach the test centre smoothly. 

Items to Carry on Exam Day:

  • A printed copy of the Admit Card, downloaded from the official RBI website. 

  • An original, valid Photo ID proof such as Aadhaar, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence.

  • One recent passport-size photograph, identical to the one uploaded during the application process.

  • A transparent water bottle.

  • A simple ballpoint pen for rough work.

Prohibited Items:

  • Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, or any other electronic gadgets.

  • No bags or any written material into the exam hall.

Exam Hall Experience:

  • The exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT), conducted online at designated test centres.

  • Rough sheets will be provided at the centre for calculations.

  • Scores from multiple sessions are equated using the equi-percentile method.

  • Both sectional and overall cut-offs will be applied for the Prelims examination.

  • Conducting Body: Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

  • Exam Stage: Preliminary Examination (Phase 1).

  • Mode of Exam: Online (Computer-Based Test).

Sections in Exam:

  • English Language.

  • Numerical Ability.

  • Reasoning Ability.

Total Questions:

  • 100 questions in total.

Total Marks:

  • 100 marks.

Section-wise Questions & Marks:

  • English Language: 30 questions – 30 marks.

  • Numerical Ability: 35 questions – 35 marks.

  • Reasoning Ability: 35 questions – 35 marks.

Time Duration:

  • Total time: 60 minutes (1 hour).

  • Each section has separate timing (sectional timing).

Marking Scheme:

  • 1 mark for each correct answer.

  • 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer (negative marking).

Language of Paper:

  • English section: English only.

  • Other sections: Hindi and English.
