The basic salary of SBI (State Bank of India) Probationary Officer (PO) is Rs. 41,960/- (with four increments) in the scale 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to the junior management degree. i scale Salary of SBI Probationary Officer is Rs.52000/- to Rs.58000/- per month.
While IBPS PO revised basic pay structure (as per 11th bilateral agreement) is Rs. 36000 - (980 x 7) INR ) - 42860 - (1145 x 2) – 45150 – (1310 x 7) – 54320 and own salary is Rs. 57,289 which may vary from place to place.

Accommodation
Candidates selected as SBI PO can use rented accommodation which is eligible to draw an amount ranging from Rs 8000 in class C cities to Rs 29500 in Mumbai.
In IBPS PO HRA depends on the delivery point and varies between 9%, 8%, and 7%. In some places, banks make their accommodation available for rent.
Medical Aid
SBI provides medical aid through CGHS scheme which allows 100% benefit to an individual and 75% benefit to his family.
