The selection will be on the basis of shortlisting and an interview. Following are the details of the steps involved in SBI Trade Finance Officer Selection Process 2026-
Shortlisting: Mere fulfilling the minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in the candidate to candidate for being called for an interview. The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank, will be shortlisted for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Interview: The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Merit List: Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of the Trade Finance officers obtained in the interview only. In case more than one candidate has the cut-off marks (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, based on merit.
Pay scale for MMGS‑II is in the middle management grade with a basic pay band and typical monthly basic in the range shown for MMGS‑II in the Trade Finance officer notification (plus DA, allowances and other admissible perks).In addition to basic pay, candidates receive Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, medical and other admissible allowances.
